A nice ride up or down the hill to this magnificent church. But you must not miss doing one way by foot because the biblical scenes, that are depicted on the stairway are extremely catching.

Beautiful place. You can access by car, 1 euro parking up, at the Bom, or free, at the base, but have to walk all the stairs. Also, can use the funicular, be aware of the one hour lunch break 😉 …

My mobility was compromised so walking up was not an option. Cloudy, rainy day but it made it very atmospheric. To get the full experience, I think you need to walk up or at least down. I'm not sure I would recommend going, unless I really missed something 🤷 …
