Church of San Pietro and San Biagio : Via Borgo Brossana, 1952, 33043 Cividale del Friuli UD, Italy

It's a shame it's only open on certain dates, such as the Palio di San Donato and the Feast of San Biagio. It's worth a visit.

A very beautiful church (but not always open). The exterior façade is decorated. It's worth a visit if you come to Cividale del Friuli. The adjacent garden is often open, where small shows and various games for children are organized (see, for example, the Cividale Pumpkin Festival).

An enchanting church, once entirely frescoed, yet still marvelous today, reopened thanks to the support and supervision of a remarkable group of volunteers who, during my visit, provided evocative Gregorian chant. It's definitely worth taking a few steps further, beyond the Monastery of Santa Maria della Valle, to find and visit it.
