The chapel was built in 1908 in the place called En Mamont, near the Avançon gorges. It was completely rebuilt in 2001, while retaining its mountain charm with its shingle roof (wooden tiles). Every summer, masses are celebrated there at 11:45 a.m., and a pilgrimage takes place on August 5, the feast day of Our Lady of the Snows.
