Santa Llúcia Sacosta
Carrer de Montjuïc, 2, 17007 Girona, Spain
Santa Llúcia Sacosta is a catholic church located in Fontcoberta.
The current church was built in the 12th century. It was expanded in the 16th century. In 1755, its bell tower was destroyed by lightning. With the confiscation of church property in 1835, it passed into private hands, which explains the modernist finish of the tower added in the 19th century.
Amazing architecture!
An interesting town. Beautiful views of the city from the wall. A beautiful view of the river. Good shops and a cafe. I recommend visiting. You can spend two days here.
