I haven't found the chapel open on the occasions I've visited, but there are plenty of spectacular and easy trails around it. There are many singletrack sections, some of them quite challenging!

As the comments say, it is an ideal place to start long walks. The area has spots that need to be restored. A picnic area would be nice. I can't find any viable trash cans. I think it's a waste to go and spend the afternoon with some sandwiches, with the children exploring and peeling their knees.
