Beautiful Gothic Chuch dating back to 1538. The image of St.James is on the main altar. When you enter to left there is also an image of St. James on horseback slaying the moors.

Very beautiful inside and out. The parish priest is exceptional. He gave all the pilgrims a small scallop shell, which I will of course treasure forever.

We went on a Monday and it was closed. But it's worth seeing even from the outside; majestic and enormous for Pontedeume's small size. Very pretty!
