historic mainly 15th century old Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Badajoz on Plaza de Espana looks like fortress. Only one 40m high tower, second wasn't built to make the cathedral symmetric. Visited the square on Saturday, but the entrance to the church was closed.
