A beautiful hermitage nestled in the mountains of Alta Garrotxa. Built in the Romanesque style, its apse is perfectly preserved, and the interior is open to the public. The views from the top are stunning. It can be reached on foot via a route from the Oix road or from Sadernes at several points.

Santa Bàrbara de Pruneres used to be a small monastery of nuns where Jordi lives in part of it. They say he is the last hermit, for 20 years now and that he gives drink to those who are thirsty and gives food, upon prior order, to those who ask for it. His incredible rice dishes like the one in the photo are known!!
