The hermitage of Our Lady of the Snows (also called Santa María de Urria or Urrilla) in Barbadillo del Pez has its oldest part —especially the apse— which could date from the Visigothic period or the repopulation of the 8th-9th centuries, although it cannot be specified with certainty.

On a mound past the cemetery, you leave it on your left and climb either across the fields or along a path around the corner. It has a square apse and sun symbols on the archivolts of the doorway. Simple but beautiful. Possibly from the period of the Mozarabic repopulation.
