Built in the Baroque style, it is also known as the new church. It is located next to the monastery and opposite the Parador hotel.
This church was abandoned during the Mendizábal confiscations in the mid-19th century. It was later restored in 1978 and converted into an auditorium and cultural center; in 2014 it was renovated again and reopened as a new center for promoting the province's crafts. Today it remains closed… The Baroque façade is well worth seeing.
Beautiful Baroque-style church located opposite the Parador de Turismo just before reaching the magnificent Plaza de Santa Maria.
