Basilica housing the city's patron saint, the Virgin of the Chapel. Gothic style with several Baroque altarpieces. A must-see. Be sure to check opening hours, especially on holidays, as I had to visit three times before finding it open. Free admission.

It is a Catholic Christian church erected in Jaén in 1248. Its architecture is remarkable, as you can see in the photographs, and it boasts a long and rich history, the most notable part of which is the so-called "Descent of the Virgin" in 1430, commemorated on the exterior wall with an image and description. A visit is well worthwhile.
