What an interesting museum synagogue to visit , set close to the castle up a steep cobblestone street but well worth the walk up to get to it . Free entry to this quirky wee building with very low doorways and small rooms but it’s perfectly renovated and maintained and definitely worth a visit whilst in town .

A small museum in a building which was a synagogue in the old Jewish quarter. Entrance is free, nice lady run's the place. Recomend to take the time and visit.

The synagogue of Castelo de Vide even though there is no Archeological evidence that it had been actually used as a synagogue is a testament to the Jewish past, presence and influence of the Jews in the area. It deserves to be visited. Free entry.
