Saint Bartholomew's Chapel
Trancoso, Portugal
Saint Bartholomew's Chapel is a christian church located in Trancoso.
Although small in size, this chapel holds great significance as it commemorates the marriage of King Dinis to Queen Leonor, who was later known as Saint Queen.
A hexagonal chapel, with wax votive offerings and a gilded altarpiece featuring an image of Saint Bartholomew. It was in this church that King Dinis and Queen Saint Isabel were married! Not to be missed!
