I had the most wonderful experience visiting this monastery. It was absolutely beautiful! We were so grateful to Eurico for walking us through and sharing his knowledge, and afterwards stopping at his lovely shop. His kindness made the visit even more special. This place is truly a must-see!
A wonderful monastery for women built in 17 century. If you arrive at the open time but find it’s closed, don’t go, please go to the shop just opposite the monastery for help. A great guy showed us around , told us the history of this place. …
An unassuming jewel, where time stands still. It was an honour and a privilege to witness a Cistercian monastery still active today. Perhaps the highlight of our trip to the wonderful region. The foundation of St. Bernard of Clairvaux is recognised throughout.
