The chancel is decorated with an opulent Rococo gilded altarpiece by the Évora artists Manuel and Sebastião Abreu do Ó, completed in the second third of the 18th century. The pulpit was made by the same masters and is perhaps the most splendid in the Alentejo region.

Church of the Convent of Our Lady of Remedies, a Carmelite convent. It is the auditorium of the Évora Regional Conservatory, but despite being so, it still retains all its contents, not having suffered the same mistake as happened in other churches in the country (removing valuables simply because they are no longer used for worship).
