Chapel of Our Lady of the Olive Tree is a catholic church located in Caxias.
Pls amend to mention this church is closed on public holidays. Went to Lisbon especially on 13th June and it was closed contrary to what appeared on Google
Unique tilework, still part of the Pombaline-style reconstruction. A welcoming space integrated into the urban fabric of the Marquis of Pombal. The Virgin and Child are an integral part of the panels. The main image predates the 1755 earthquake.
A very charming and simple chapel in downtown Lisbon. It doesn't have large inscriptions or crosses highlighting its presence, but it's quite interesting to enter and pray an Our Father and a Hail Mary. We did so in January 2024.
