The Convent of Our Lady of Penha de França was built in the second half of the 17th century and underwent remodeling in the early 18th century. Currently, only the church remains of the convent, in the Mannerist style, as is the case with the façade and cloister, and Baroque, as is the case with all the interior decoration.
