I went there today and the tour guide assisted me in English. She was very knowledgeable, could answer my questions in all spheres, was interesting and very entertaining. I recommend the 5 euro tour to the sanctuary and into the garden. Well worth a lengthy visit.

A large church devoted to Queen Isabel. It overlooks the city of Coimbra. The courtyard inside is so beautiful. The inside of church is rather gold.
