The historic rectory building is impressive. Fortunately, it has been restored and presents itself very well. Unfortunately, there's no access to it; it can only be admired from behind a fence.
A wonderful facility. Finally, open it to the public. I was here 16 years ago, and it was also closed, only more neglected. It still hasn't reopened. The ticket price is going up. Do something. See you in a few years. It's a long way from Opole to Reszel.
The rectory was likely built in the 15th century. It stands next to the Church of St. Peter and Paul in Reszel and is considered the oldest rectory in Warmia. Ignacy Krasicki, brother of the local parish priest, was a guest here.
