Wieża Zboru Ewangelickiego ( XVIII w.)
3 Maja 7, 63-740 Kobylin, Poland
Wieża Zboru Ewangelickiego ( XVIII w.) is a gospel church located in Kobylin.
The tower of the Evangelical Church in Kobylin is the only remnant of the church built in 1764 on the orders of Prince Aleksander Józef Sułkowski and demolished in the 1950s. The wooden tower features a clock and is covered with a tin cupola roof with a lantern.
The wooden clock tower is the only remnant of the former wooden Protestant church that stood on this site in the 18th century. It is topped with a tin dome with a lantern. It is now a historical monument and a tourist attraction.
The winds of history have blown, and only this tower remains of the old wooden Protestant church. It's worth a look.
