The World's First Kerosene Street Lamp is a historical landmark located in Gorlice. gorlice.pl
A small road-side monument of great significance and historical celebration.
Although the walk from Gorlice's market square is quite long and takes a considerable distance, it's still worth visiting and admiring the world's first kerosene lamp! I'm very proud that it was a Pole, Ignacy Łukasiewicz, who invented this light source! It's an absolute must-see when in Gorlice.
It seems like nothing, but it is. It's worth the visit. Right off the road. Easy to find. Cool story.
