Unfortunately the building is having exterior renovation and you will see scaffolding outside the bell tower. It says expected completion Dec 2025. There was some stairs going up hill and if you having difficulties walking up hill maybe good to see from bottom near the river side.

Absolutely, a must do experience while at the Wawel Castle. The stairs are solid, but a bit of hike up to the tower. The bell is magnificent, and the view from the tower breath taking.
