Statue of John Paul II is a historical landmark located in Jednorożec.
A very large neo-classical Catholic church dating from 1883, making it the largest in Warsaw at the time. It dominates Grzybowski Square with its two towers and its design based on the Church of St. Justine of Padua. Beautiful church both inside and out!
Lovely statue of the great man himself, Pope John Paul, an icon in Poland. Would have loved to go into the old church myself but there was Sunday service so.. …
This is Catholic Church just behind the statue of John Paul II. Part of the walls are still under renovation but is nice to visit as it survived the WWII. The messes are conducted every day. I took a picture listing the times for Sundays and any other days. In from of the church, across the street, there is also a small park.
