Stary Książ is a castle located in Wałbrzych.
An epic 13th century ancient ruins, situated few kilometers away from Książ Castle (Schloss Fürstenstein). Quite a good place to unwind from daily routine, not too many people around and good views towards surroundings. Also the depthness of forest and close-by canyon add up to the attractiveness of this historical spot.
THE YELLOW TRAIL IS BROCKEN! We came to the ruins fallowing the trail with red markings starting from Pełcznica and it was okish. Took around an hour, uphill climb for the last 15-20 mins. …
Nice fake ruins. You can go there as part of the trip to real Ksiaz Castle. This is the result when you don't know what to do with money. I expected that it is more preserved since it isn't from medieval but from the 18th century. The path requires some physical condition.
