The beautiful and precious church of Saints Cosmas and Damian in Skwirtne is a true gem. It's a shame it's closed to the public.

A classic Lemko church of the northwestern type: tripartite (with a chancel, nave, and women's gallery), with three bulbous domes with pseudo-lanterns, and a shingled roof. Built in 1837, two icons from the original iconostasis, dating from the early 19th century, have survived – they hang on the nave wall.
