Ruiny kościoła ewangelickiego
55-140 Powidzko, Poland
Ruiny kościoła ewangelickiego is a historical landmark located in Pogwizdów.
As for ruins, it looks quite good, ruins among the trees, falling roof tiles, beautiful thick bricks, it's a shame it's decaying. The area is fenced.
The first small Evangelical church was built in 1898. It turned out to be too small, so in 1922 a new one was built in the neo-Gothic style. No more information about the building. The church cemetery was used until 1957. Currently, the building and cemetery are very devastated.
The former Evangelical church in Powidz is now a ruin hidden in the thicket of a former cemetery – the tower remains almost complete, but the nave walls are heavily damaged. …
