A mysterious place, especially in winter. The hermitage has been beautifully restored, but there's not a soul in sight. I wonder why such a beautiful and well-maintained structure isn't used in winter.

In the first half of the 16th century, his descendant Józef Czartoryski, who lived there for over 20 years, rebuilt and decorated it, drawing on the best cultural models and traditions. At least that's what the Zebrzydowski Sanctuary website states.
