A beautiful structure housing hundreds years of history. The courtyard is beautiful and worth visiting. It's also the place where the last living Piast was situated. If you visit Legnica, the castle is a "must see" indeed.

The Piast Castle is one of the most important buildings in the city. For over 750 years it was the seat and the symbol of territorial power: Piast dukes, Habsburg starosts, Prussian and German regional offices- I was really amazed it is so interesting. Especially I liked courtyard of the castle.
