The church was built on land formerly owned by the writer Zofia Kossak. It was constructed between 1991 and 1998. It boasts modern furnishings, including a striking chancel with a Franciscan cross and beautiful depictions of saints, including St. Clare, Maximilian Kolbe, Jacek, and others.

The nativity scene is large and beautiful. But the mechanism that's supposed to turn it on doesn't work, even after inserting a dozen coins.
