The church was built in 1518. Previously, it was a wooden church. In the early 20th century, the wooden tower was replaced by a neo-Gothic brick one. It houses a bell from the first half of the 18th century. Of note is the palm vault supported by a pillar in the center of the nave. It is the only such monument in Cieszyn Silesia.
