In 1695-97, the von Köller family founded a local church. Bogusław Henning von Köller, titular pastor of Kamień Cathedral, financed the construction of the church tower in 1722. A tomb was built for him within the church. Around the mid-19th century, a burial chapel was added to the church, which currently serves as the sacristy.
