It's a shame that the church was closed when we visited. It has a beautiful side door and the adjacent former cemetery is also interesting.

The church's current state of repair beautifully illustrates the demographic changes in the region. Building such a large church must have resulted in increased demand. These days, I doubt more than 10 people attend Sunday Mass. It's a real shame, because it's a truly beautiful church.
