Kościół Ewangelicki
Sienkiewicza 7, 63-760 Zduny, Poland
Kościół Ewangelicki is a evangelical church located in Zduny.
Former Evangelical Church. Built between 1789 and 1792, it served the Evangelicals until 1945. From 1946 to 1989, it housed a warehouse. Currently, it serves as a funeral home. The exterior facade bears numerous traces of the German shelling of the city on September 1, 1939.
The Evangelical Church in Zduny was built between 1789 and 1792 and served as the local Evangelical church until 1945. It is currently under the care of the Zduny Commune authorities, who have completed repairs to the roof.
The church is somewhat neglected, which actually gives it a distinctive look. The walls are riddled with bullet holes left by World War II. In my opinion, it's one of the most interesting monuments in the area. It's worth stopping for a moment and exploring, even just from the outside.
