The first phase of conservation work has just been completed. I was truly delighted to see bricks previously hidden beneath the plaster. I hope this is just the beginning, and the church will begin to look its original glory.

A beautiful church after many renovations. A beautiful altar painted gold. A side chapel of Our Lady, a side nave with the tomb of Christ. On the walls are paintings of saints, and on the ceiling, the Holy Trinity. In the basement are the graves of distinguished people. Visits are possible by appointment.

If Brzeziny were a tourist town, one of the main attractions would be the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, which has a rich history beyond its Gothic style and interior. It's a shame it's not. I recommend it 🙂 …
