Kościół Ewangelicki z 1874 roku
Garbarska 5, 62-820 Stawiszyn, Poland
Kościół Ewangelicki z 1874 roku is a coffee shop located in Stawiszyn.
A wonderfully atmospheric place, but getting inside in the summer can be quite difficult due to the proximity of the property and the people in the yard. Unfortunately, it's falling into increasing disrepair, and the roof has partially collapsed inside...
A former Protestant church, built in 1874 on the site of a former castle built during the reign of Casimir the Great and destroyed during the Swedish Deluge. It was in use until approximately 1985. Today, it is closed and falling into ruin.
The final years of a church that was probably once magnificent. No one in charge, no renovations, everything is falling apart and looking worse with each passing year. What a shame. At this point, there's probably nothing left to save.
