Cerkiew Prawosławna Św. Archanioła Michała w Michałowie
59-140 Chocianów, Poland
Cerkiew Prawosławna Św. Archanioła Michała w Michałowie is a church located in Chocianów.
The village was originally established as a settlement for Germans who left in 1945, fleeing the approaching Red Army. In 1946, Lemkos deported from the Bieszczady Mountains during Operation Vistula arrived in the village.
We are driving through the forest and here... a shock that lasts for several hours... such a place in such a place is DIVINE!
An interesting place. Worth a visit. I recommend cycling along the green trail.
