The Basilica of St. John the Baptist is an exceptional church. Entering its interior on a weekday in the summer when there are no crowds is like being transported to another mystical space. The Gothic style and richly carved interiors give this church a unique character. For true Christians, it is a wonderful place to talk to God.

What impressed me most was the vaulting, which also phenomenally correlates with the paintings on the walls and, of course, the entire interior.
