The Gothic church and convent date back to the 15th century. This religious site underwent several changes over the centuries. The interior is particularly effective in conveying its Gothic identity.

The Church of Sant'Agostino deserves more attention from the relevant authorities. It is in terrible condition from a maintenance perspective and would require significant renovations. It's a shame to see it in such a state of disrepair. It also enjoys an enviable location with two entrances from different streets.

The temple originally stood in another location, in the current Largo Carlo Felice where the Crypt of the Saint still exists, accessible from Palazzo Accardo.
