A simple alpine pasture at the end of the valley with a friendly innkeeper and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, contrary to the guidebook's recommendation, the ascent with a stroller is not recommended, as the access road is in very rough condition (it's doable, but not enjoyable).

It's a good two-hour hike from St. Leonhard to St. Anna Alm. It's quite a climb. But once you arrive at St. Anna Alm, you're richly rewarded. The food is delicious, especially the Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake). They also have tasty …
