From the outside, it's rather unassuming, but the interior is breathtaking. A very old church, skillfully restored. Wonderful murals, beautiful paintings, carvings, and valuable sculptures and stonework. Step inside, sit down, pause, rest, and marvel. I was deeply impressed by so much art in one place. Truly worth seeing.

A magnificent Catholic basilica dedicated to Saint Victor. Located on Cannobio's lakeside promenade, it is majestic and imposing, beautiful on the outside but even more beautiful on the inside, richly decorated with frescoes and inlays. A large square opens onto the main entrance. Absolutely stunning!

A church where you can linger and unwind. The impressive ceiling paintings and the individual altars are truly something to behold. The intriguing ringing of the bells isn't something you hear everywhere. I also witnessed a procession on May 20, 2024, that went from the beach promenade to the church. Truly solemn!
