Panoramic and strategically located, the bell tower is an old watchtower. It perfectly matches the Ferranda Tower and the Rocca di Re Auduino. Nearby is a small 19th-century cemetery. After Napoleon's arrival, an "Ossuary" was created, gathering the bones of the deceased buried nearby for more than 900 years.

The church stands on a hill overlooking the town of Pont and was certainly built on a Neolithic and Roman settlement. The bell tower was certainly a watchtower, in fact it is round in shape. The interior is very beautiful with paintings and statues of fine workmanship on the walls. Behind the church you can visit the ossuary.
