The road up is in fairly good condition, but the sanctuary, although shored up and secured, has lost all its charm. I hope for a quick renovation. The church containing the saint's remains can be visited.

Rather than the Sanctuary, which was severely damaged by the earthquake, I recommend continuing up to the plateaus, beyond the sanctuary, towards Bognola: enchanting green expanses, bordering the sky and punctuated by the Sibillini Mountains! The view is enchanting.

A wonderful place to experience prayer, with kind and welcoming friars... it's a shame the earthquake reconstruction work hasn't started.
