The consecration took place in 1893 following expansion and renovation of the existing church dating back to the second half of the sixteenth century. Inside is a magnificent 19th-century organ by the Lombard Lingiardi family.

I stumbled upon this Baroque-style church, about which I have no information whatsoever, by pure chance. I found the interior beautiful but very dark. The entrance door and the balustrade surrounding the organ are exquisitely crafted. It's a shame the photos don't do it justice.
