I think this is one of the most beautiful churches in Spoleto. I’m not much for the baroque style of churches but prefer this one, which is more gothic or Romanesque. It is simple, very old, yet spectacular. Especially down in the crypt. Don’t miss this church when in Spoleto. A must see.

The oldest church in Spoleto, probably most worth exploring. There is an older one outside of town under UNESCO heritage. Lovely frescoes and fascinating raw stone construction.
