A majestic basilica. A must visit when you are in Rome. There are awesome restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops nearby so you can also do shopping. There is a long line when we visited but it's usually quick. I am very impressed with the architectural designs. Make sure to visit when you are in Rome.

You visit the church together with the portico. The latter is less impressive than you might expect but it's literally the extended front courtyard of the church. We were in town for lunch at Giardino and this occupied ten or so minutes before it opened.
