A modest church, its roots date back to the Middle Ages. The exterior retains some Romanesque elements, including a modest but beautiful bell tower. The interior is modest, with Baroque features.

The church is open, simple but very well-maintained. The frescoes are truly beautiful. The entrance features two lion heads watching over visitors. The columns have small capitals with unusual symbols and inscriptions. A must-see.

In damp weather, this all-stone church appears austere, protected by such high ramparts dominated by peaks shrouded in mist. But a babbling fountain, graceful capitals, a welcoming porch, and a rich interior make you feel sheltered, outside of time. Well worth a visit.
