The Parish Church of Maria SS. Addolorata in Aspra was originally the chapel of the villa of the Del Castillo family, Marquises of S. Isidoro. It was erected as a parish on June 5, 1929. Its interior contains Baroque works of art, and in the apse, an early fresco by Renato Guttuso.
