Construction of the Cathedral began in 1422 and continued for many years, finally being completed only in the following century. The interior has three naves, and the church boasts many altars made of polychrome marble. The high altar is beautiful, and several of its paintings are noteworthy.

Seravezza Cathedral. It appears bare and, above all, a bit shabby, at least that was my first impression. The interior, although it has some notable features, such as the beautiful altar and presbytery, is generally under-appreciated. The setting of the town in which it is located is pleasant.
