You cannot reach the botanical gardens here, regardless of what any phone app will tell you. However, the small church has a beautiful overlook of the lake, though it is not that well kept.

A beautiful church with 11th- and 13th-century frescoes, it can be reached by car, taking care as the road is very narrow. To visit, contact the religious staff at Villa Chaminade. Convenient parking is available in the small square in front of the church.

An 11th-century oratory with an adjoining villa (now owned by the region). Excellent location, quiet and peaceful, though a little difficult to reach. The building is in good condition, but I wasn't able to visit the interior. The view of Lake Maggiore is excellent.
