one of the most evocative places on the Via Francigena. Among the things to see are the sanctuary of 1400, the stamped rule written by San Francesco, the chapel of San Michele Arcangelo with the painting of the Magdalene, the caves of Leone and Francesco. As well as a beautiful path with holm oak trees that leads up to Rieti.

Nice place with only us there at the time. Decent views from the back. The walk from Rieti was not that pretty but is part of the pilgrimage walk.
